Started with their Silogi, which has 4 delicious spreads served with flatbread. All spreads were cold and fresh and were all worth trying. The Saganaki was really tasty. It's pan fried Creek cheese, very crispy on the outside, chewy and pungent (in a good way) on the inside. Definitely the most interesting, unique flavor I experienced that night.
Their Pantzaria beet salad was very nice, much better than the other salad I tried, which was the only dish i didn't like. That would be the Marouli, which was very ordinary and unimpressive.
If you're a fan of lamb chops, you'll love their Paithakia. So damn good. Easily the best lamb chops I've ever had.
We were too full to order dessert, but luckily one of the restaurant's owners offered up free Yiaourti, which was excellent. It's tangy yogurt served with honey, nuts, and fresh fruit. I could eat that stuff all day.
All in all, a great looking restaurant with tasty food, good wine list, and friendly service.

I also have to applaud the GSW faithful, the Bulls were up by 14 after 3 quarters, but the Warriors managed a comeback and their fans were pretty damn loud, which only helped their team eventually win in overtime. It was a great game, and I left disappointed with the result, but impressed with the arena's improvements and the GSW fans.

To start, we had the Carpaccio di Manzo, which was ridiculously tasty and was easily the best raw meat dish I've ever had. The thinly-sliced fliet mignon was well-flavored and melted in my mouth. The Fritti Stagionali was just OK, it was basically crispy fried shrimp, calamari, and some veggies with a good mustard sauce.
We had two pasta dishes, the Bucatini with dungeoness crab, and the Pappardelle with braised rabbit ragu. Both were excellent. The homemade pasta noodles were very fresh and al dente in both dishes.
Our secondi was the beef short ribs with polenta. The short ribs are braised for 18 hours, and was the most tender meat I've ever had. This dish was excellent as well, only I was quite full by the time we had this.
Not only was the food spectacular, our server was excellent. Neil was very informative with his recommendations, and he even offered for us to try several wines free of charge before ordering a glass. To top it off, he gave us a complimentary scoop of passionfruit sorbet for dessert. Ask for Neil if you can, and he'll hook it up.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of excellent Italian food with a Californian twist. If you like Michael Chiarello's FoodTV show, this is the Napa destination for you.

Patxi's Chicago Pizza

As a native Chicagoan, I was raised with deep dish 'za from Gino's East, so I think I'm a pretty good judge when it comes to deep dish. Patxi's sauce isn't very tasty, it's too tangy for my taste. Also, there's way too much cheese in their pizza, although the cheese did taste good. I've been to Zachary's in Berkeley many times, and that place makes a much better pie than here. Have yet to try Little Star, but have heard nothing but praise.
